Uniqueness of the inclined chamber lays in that the is replaced with three feeding beaters with special elements. It allows to improve significantly the technological process stability, and, as the sequence, increase the harvester capacity.

The inclined chamber beaters level and accelerate the mass before entering the rotor, thus providing stable technological process. The research has shown, that, in comparison with traditional chain-strip transporters, the beaters increase the inclined chamber capacity by 20%, and the energy consumption reduces by 15%.

Such scheme is especially effective at operation on uneven swaths, at mass high humidity and contamination rates, with rice, and in other adverse conditions.

On rotor-type harvesters with fixed deck, the deck area is used incompletely, what reduces possible productivity capacity. Beside deck area incomplete use, when harvesting wet corn and rice, the deck is clogged in upper part (so called dead zone). Unsatisfactory rotor operation on wet cultures was objective shortcoming of ordinary rotor-type harvesters, as well as insufficiency during rice harvesting. It is possible to forget the above problem after the appearance of TORUM. There are no obstacles due to our design.
The deck revolving provides its self-cleaning, absence of “dead” zones in the gap, and mass suspension and rotor clogging is excluded. Besides, energy consumption of threshing process is reduced by 8-10%.

TORUM uses 2-cascade cleaning system. One more blown cascade creates additional sieve. The system is well-balanced: shuttle board and lower sieve move to one side, and the upper sieve massive part moves in counter-phase. The area of sieves comprises 5.2 m².

More capacity, faster unloading, less stops in the field – the result is higher. Henceforth, only such formula. Faster, higher, more.

Clear grain get the grain tank with capacity of 10 500 L. Such capacity allows to improve the operation effectiveness be means of reducing the number of unloading cycles.
The unloading speed comprises 105 L/s, and the full grain tank is emptied within the period of not more than 2 minutes. The unloading worm length is enlarged and comprises 5.7 m, unloading height is 5.4 m, overhand angle is 105˚. It allows to unload the grain easily into any load-carrying vehicle, even with 9-m reaper, and, when reaping the rice, perform unloading without leaving the check.

In order to save fuel during the unloading, it is allowed to switch-off the thresher drive.

Air compressor

Air compressor saves enough time for shift-based maintenance, especially in mobile conditions when the special support machine is not available. The compressor is included into standard set of TORUM innovational grain harvester.

Chassis

Chassis is designed considering complex requirements, which, sometimes, come from assembly. Increased clearance and small turning radius allow the harvester to maneuver easily on the field and on the ordinary roads. The possibility of installation of four-wheel drive and semi-caterpillar drive is foreseen in the harvester.

The correspondent frontal equipment is required for such high-efficient harvesters. Everybody knows that the harvesting starts from reaper. Therefore, the selection of right decision represents the most important aspect when selecting the harvester.

The reaper hydraulic drive

allows to adjust its rpm without gears providing optimal and uniform mass feeding for the high productivity purpose. It is easy and reliable mechanism with minimal adjustments.

Schumacher cutting apparatus

operates smoothly, precisely and without wear. High cutting rpm and increased travel of knives increase the cut quality and, respectively, the harvesting productivity, especially in adverse conditions. The knives are attached with bolts, what considerably reduces the time of their replacement. In order to harvest the laid crops on uneven soils, the stem-lifters, which preliminary lift the stems fromground, are used to reduce the losses (included into basic set).

Electro-hydraulic soil relief-copying system

(included into standard set) allows to increase the harvesting efficiency due to increase of operating speed, and reduce the losses behind the reaper. Three operating modes, automatictransferring the adapter into transporting position and programmablepreset copying settings make easier the harvestingprocess. The electronics will care about the relief complexity.

The large diameter worm

prevents the winding of high-stem crops. Pins between the worm threads arranged along the coverage width promote the mass feeding even when harvesting peas and very low barley (for reapers with electrical-hydraulic copying). There are grooves on the pins allowing their careful braking in case of getting the rocks.

Reaper rpm and harvester drive speed synchronization system

makes easier the harvester operator’s work, and reduces the requirements to his qualification. As the result, increased harvesting productivity and reduced losses. Connecting areas of the reaper beams and rake elements are reliably protected from winding of long-stem plants.

Corn

In order to harvest the corn seeds, the 8- or 12-row reapers are used, which provide productivity up to 6 hectares/hour with the guarantee. It is remarkable, that the device also shredding and throwing of leaf-stem mass over the field. Rotor deck meshes are replaced with special ones – “corn” meshes.

Rape

In order to achieve maximum effectiveness when harvesting the easily-damaged cultures, the additional equipment is proposed. Rape attachment for reapers 6/7/9 m will reduce losses at harvesting by 3-4 times and additionally pick-up 30-100 kg of grain from 1 hectare of field, depending of crop capacity.

Sunflower seeds

The 8- and 12-row reapers especially designed for harvesting the sunflower shall provide the completeness crop harvesting at minimum rate of 98%, what is not achievable when using another type attachments. The reapers reliably operate in any agricultural conditions, including stunted sunflower hybrids.

Rice

TORUM is the leader in rice harvesting. ARS rotor system, designed for harvesting this complex culture, can be just added with elements from the “rice” set. In order to work in “wet” checks, semi-caterpillar tracks can be installed on durable front axle, and the rear controlled wheels can be equipped with a drive. High-quality cut of tangled and rigid rice stems is provided by reaper with double pin-free cutting apparatus and a special visor on the table.

Small-seeded cultures

When harvesting seeds of legumes and cereals, it is possible to reduce considerably the seed losses and increase their purity, if the harvester will be equipped with special attachment (“piercing” sieves, deck strip, etc.).

Pickup attachment

In case of separate harvesting, the harvesters are equipped with pickup platforms having width 3.4 or 4.3 m. As the reaper, this device is able to copy the field relief in longitudinal and later directions. Reliable protection of pickup elements from clogging, winding and blowing-off the mass by wind provides its stable operation even in adverse conditions.

For the harvest sparse, undersized bread essential grain conveyor header Draper Stream 900 whith width of 900mm. When using it, the rate of harvesting is increased to 10-15 %, which allows to optimize the download of the thresher. Special wheels, performing the functions of copying field relief and support of the header, may also be moved the transport position, eliminating the need to use transport trucks.

Float Stream headers in 7 m and 9 m (working width) versions with flexible (floating) cutterbar offering an excellent micro ground following ability.
It’s really capable to cut losses in soybeans and other creeping crops. These headers can also be used to cut traditional spiked cereals – thanks to the settling the knife into the fixed state.
