Rostselmash and MTU (Mercedes-Benz) signed the agreement

The Rostselmash Company harvesters will be equipped with engines of one of the world leader in diesel-building MTU Friedrichshafen — affiliate of the largest automobile corporation Daimler AG (Mercedes-Benz and Daimler).

Valery Maltsev, Director General of the Rostselmash Company, and Bernd Krueper, Chief of Sales Department for industrial engines MTU Friedrichshafen, signed the contract during the Agritechnica exhibition in Hannover, Germany.

The exhibition became the site not only for meeting the customers, but also for conduction of business negotiations. The negotiations between the leaders of world agricultural machine-building and diesel-building finished by partnership agreement.

— We continuously improve our materiel, make it more reliable, more durable, and more efficient. Therefore, only companies leading in their fields become our partners. As per the achieved agreement, in the coming years, about 3000 Rostselmash machines will be equipped with engines MTU (Mercedes-Benz), which completely correspond to European Emission Standards. Torum 760 (power 372 kW) grain harvesters, and RSM 1401 (321 kW) and 1403 (282 kW) forage harvesters will be equipped with OM 460 LA type engines. The machined are intended for the Russian market and for exporting to Europe, — commented Valery Maltsev, Director General of the Rostselmash.
