Bulgaria needs more combine harvesters from Rostselmash
The spring exhibition BATA AGRO took place in Stara-Zagora. The Rostselmash’ stand set up in conjunction with Opticom, manufacturer’s official representative in Bulgaria, was a major centre of attraction magnetising attendees with a wide spectrum of equipment. Apart from trailed implements, on display was virtually the complete lineup of grain harvesters: VECTOR 425, ACROS 595, RSM 161, TORUM 765.
The high interest shown by farmers has been stirred up through active efforts to promote Russian farming machines. Particularly, a series of demos to show Rostselmash combine harvesters were held right in the field in a few areas in Bulgaria last year. Farmers had the chance to assure themselves of machines’ performance and high threshing quality. Also, Rostselmash jointly with the Bulgarian partner has developed and proposed to Bulgarian growers a suite of financial instruments making the modern energy-packed equipment more affordable.
Right at the site of BATA AGRO, the keys from one of the combine harvesters—TORUM 765—were handed over to the customer. This was Petar Petrov, the manager of ET Lachko, an agricultural business.
And just a week later Mr. Petrov on invitation from Rostselmash came as a member of a group of Bulgarian farmers to Russia. Together with the delegation, he visited the factory, saw the manufacturing technologies and facilities with product lineup. The Bulgarian farmers met with the managers and experts in core business areas of the company. During the visit, the Bulgarian growers talked over future deliveries of Rostselmash machines, after-sales servicing of equipment, and other topics.
