Farm machinery by Rostselmash for Latvian farmers
Rostselmash has been among exhibitors at Traktordiena 2017, an international agricultural exhibition. The machines brought by the company sparked a genuine interest in Latvian farmers.
Rostselmash’s display, set up jointly with a Latvian partner, featured the new VECTOR 425 grain harvester. The machine attracted increased interest from visitors throughout the event. According to a Rostselmash representative in Latvia, this model offers a perfect combination of price (half the price of competitors), performance, flexibility and comfort. The company’s stand also featured RSM TS-3200 Satellite trailed sprayer, Pelican 1200 round baler, Strige 2800 mounted mower.
The Latvian Government is committed to develop the farming sector, to encourage agricultural businesses to wider use advanced technologies and to operate high-performance and reliable machines. Maris Kucinskis, Latvian Prime Minister, said that the Government would make every endeavour to create a favourable environment, which would encourage farmers to purchase farm machinery, and that they were glad that Rostselmash’s products meeting current world standards piqued Latvian farmers’ interest in this financially challenging time.
