President of Azerbaijan and Minister
of Agriculture have familiarised themselves with new models
of Rostselmash machinery

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Minister of Agriculture Haydar Asadov visited the Rostselmash stand at the International Agriculture Exhibition Caspian Agro-2016 and got acquainted with new equipment.

The largest regional forum uniting manufacturers of agricultural goods and foodstuffs is held on May 19-21 inBaku. Rostselmash is a permanent participant of the forum. According to Alexey Shveytsov, Commercial Director of the Company, each year the display of modern equipment is prepared in such a way as to show the Azerbaijan agrarians the wide range of possibilities of the Russian machine-building taking into account trends and specific features of regional agribusiness.

- In 2015 we presented our grain-harvesting line at the exhibition and supplied several dozens of our grain-harvesters to the farmers, - Alexey Shveytsov said. - Given the task of livestock development facing today the agribusiness of the Republic, this year we base our exhibition display on forage machinery.

The Republic’s leaders were the first to get acquainted with the Rostselmash equipment. The most advanced forage harvester RSM 1401 allowing to harvest up to 170 t of forage per hour was presented to the President. The Head of the State and Minister of Agriculture also explored the line of forage machinery for smaller farms including bale packers and rotary balers which are in great demand among the Azerbaijan agrarians.
