Rostselmash will represent Russian harvester-building in Turkmenistan

On November 25–27, the agricultural forum of CIS countries started in Ashgabat. Its target was further stimulation of development of cooperation between the countries in the field of agriculture, and improving of providing the food safety level. The forum organizational committee was headed by Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan. Rostselmash represented Russian harvester-building.

Turkmenistan purchased Russian harvesters in 1990s for the last time. More than 2200 harvesters were shipped to the Republic at that time. The largest deliveries were in 1992-1993 (590 and 846 units). The cooperation was restarted after 15-year break. In 2007, representatives of the Republic’s agricultural enterprises and Turkmenobahyzmat Association (state company dealing in supporting of local agrarians and providing it with agricultural materiel) visited Rostselmash). The Turkmen guests got familiarized with the company’s production facilities, line of modern harvesters, and studied their operation at Kubanskaya machine-testing station. The first for the last years deliveries of Rostselmash harvesters to Turkmenistan were fulfilled the same year. Two DON 680M forage harvesters were sent to the country for the first time upon the agreement with Neftegazovy Complex Turkmenistana Association.

The first agricultural forum is very important for economies of all CIS countries. «We are impressed with Turkmenistan governmental policy directed to introduction of the most advanced technologies into the country’s agricultural complex. The forum guests will be able to get familiarized with the company’s modern materiel at specialized exhibition of agricultural machine-building and agriculture enterprises’ products. VECTOR 410 grain and DON 680М forage harvesters will be presented at the Rostselmash booth.
